Christen is an alternatives specialist who has worked with more than 70 hedge funds since joining CDR as a Senior Director in 2016. Client strategies covered include activist, equity long/short, credit, quant, event driven, distressed, global macro, FX, crypto, emerging markets, biotech, disruptive tech and ESG.

He is a former Deputy CEO of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), the global representative of the alternative investment industry. More recently, Christen was Head of Communications for Terra Firma, the leading European private equity firm.

He is a former BBC journalist who spent 12 years at the Corporation.
