Caroline is a former Times journalist with over 15 years’ experience of working in public relations. She joined CDR in 2011, and has supported the strategic communications objectives of clients from a broad range of sectors, predominantly linked to financial services.

She has advised leading listed and unlisted companies in the UK and internationally in banking, insurance, PE and asset management on mandates including M&A, IPOs, financial and corporate public relations, bid defence, activism and crisis. Her work with PE firms has included providing strategic communications advice including around crisis for portfolio companies in sectors ranging from TMT to retail and leisure. She has also provided communications support for clients involved in high profile litigation cases and other legal disputes.

Before joining the public relations industry, she spent more than a decade at the Times where she covered financial services, banking and private equity. Prior to joining the Times, she worked as a business journalist at the Independent and the Independent on Sunday.
